Tri-wire Ltd, a subsidiary of Nexans based in Normanton (West Yorkshire), manufactures bare copper and tinned wire, to manage market sectors in automotive, data, power and special cables.
Within the Nexans strategy, Tri-wire services the UK and Ireland, however it is planning to expand its business into sections of the European market for 2008.
The key focus for the future will be to strengthen its existing markets in rewinding, and multiwire manufacturing, expanding the product range to include galvanised steel, nickel and silver plated wires.
Tri-wire will further strengthen the product mix provided through development of high specification bunched wires to meet the increasing demands of today's market.
Tri-wire was established in 1988 and moved to the present location in Normanton, West Yorkshire in 1991.
