Tri-wire Limited, a subsidiary of Nexans, manufactures bare and tinned copper wire to support a wide spectrum of market sectors.  These include Automotive, Data, Power and Specialised Cables.

Within the Nexans strategy, Tri-wire services the UK and Ireland and is continuing to expand its business into sections of the European market in 2010.

The key focus for the future will be to strengthen its existing markets in rewinding and multiwire production whilst expanding the product range to include galvanised steel, nickel and silver plated wires.

Tri-wire will further consolidate the product mix by continuous development of high specification bunched wires to meet the increasing demands of today's market.

Established in 1988, Tri-wire moved into a purpose-built factory location in Normanton, West Yorkshire in 1991.
