Nexans Buildings Division is based in Milton Keynes, supported by all the major Nexans manufacturing sites across the world, Nexans Buildings offers a wide product range including:
- Mains (cuts) up to 3c400mm,
- Booklet armoured,
- 6491x, 6491b, 6181y,
- PVC flexes,
- Arctic grades,
- Multipurpose wiring cable (pre-wired conduit),
- Fire safety,
- Control CYs, SYs and YYs,
- Rubbers,
- Under floor heating cables,
- LAN cables,
- Telephone cables and accessories.
New product launches in 2006 include Alsecure NX200 and NX200 Plus fire resistant cables and NXS pre-wired conduit. Nexans Building Division serves the building market through electrical wholesalers and has grown the sales team in 2006 to cover all geographical areas of the UK, major customers include Edmundsons, Rexel Senate, CEF and all major UK buying groups.
Supported by our Logistics Centre in Milton Keynes the Buildings Division is able to add value for our customers by providing a best in class service level through offering a wider product range, smaller minimum order quantities, faster lead times, reduced customer inventory costs and a faster, more flexible response to customer enquiries.
In 2005 Nexans Logistics won the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence award for the most Successful Inward Investor.
