The centre originally opened a year ago but was recently renamed as the Data Communications Competence Centre (DCCC) to better reflect the focus on ‘function’ and less on geography. In addition to supporting Nexans in the US, the facility will in future be available to conduct programmes on behalf of Nexans in Europe.
