Application For use on protective multiple earthed (PME) electrical services. These cables are designed for use in buildings due to their fire performance characteristics. Single and three core versions are available. Fire performance - Low smoke: BS EN 50268 1 & 2.
- Halogen free: BS EN 50267-2-1.
- Low toxicity: BS EN 50267-2-1.
Design 1. Conductor - Class 1 Solid Aluminium in accordance with BS6360 and IEC 60228.
2. Insulation - XLPE compound type GP8 to EN60811 / BS7655-1.3
3. Bedding(3 Core Only) - Synthetic bedding tape, approx. 0.5mm thick
4. Concentric combined neutral/earth conductor - Annealed copper wires applied helically around phase conductor(s).
5. Sheath - Orange LSHF compound type LTS 1 to BS 7655-6.1 or EN 60811
