The LANsense Row Controller is a fully featured network attached device for environmental monitoring, power management and access control in large scale applications.
The LRC may be controlled via a TCP/IP, 10/100Mbps Ethernet network through SNMP, HTTP, HTTPS, and is capable of monitoring sensors and controlling power strip outlets and output relays, allowing other network attached devices to interrogate and send commands to the LRC.
With 6 PDU ports and 12 sensor ports the LRC is optimised for multi-rack environments and when used in conjunction with the LRC Expansion Module can monitor at row level using both RS232 and RS485 serial port communication protocols, which will monitor Volts, Amps, kVA, kWh, Power Factor and Frequency from the power strip.
The LRC is a 1U 19" rack mountable device with dual redundant power feeds as standard.
When used with the LRC Expansion module a total of 24 PDUs can be monitored and managed allowing 12 dual fed cabinets to be monitored from a single IP address
Furthermore, the LRC also supports two serial keypads, or smart card readers, to control access to the cabinets via solenoid or motorised activated door locks, one external LCD display unit and 12 sensor inputs, which may be any combination of temperature, humidity, voltage free contact sensor and 0-10VDC analogue input voltage.
The LRC also provides an intuitive web based graphical user interface, eliminating the need for complex serial setup processes. The web server within the unit supports HTTP/HTTPS network protocols, allowing the user to securely configure, monitor and control the LRC via a username and password access control system.
