Tri-wire have implemented the '5S' programme in the office and the engineering workshop. '5S' is about workplace organisation and standardisation, a place for everything and everything in it's place.
5S actions started in the factory some months ago and have proven to be very successful.
Our target is to create a continuous improvement culture in line with NEW (Nexans Excellence Way).
Here at Tri-wire we have created 2 internal teams with 2 champions. The teams have found problem areas and 'tagged' them for investigation and completion. This is making dramatic improvements within the offices and the engineering workshop.
