 LANsense™ products will be positioned as leading edge solutions in the fast growing Intelligent Infrastructure Management market and will benefit from a strong partner relationship with the market leading iTRACS Corporation.
In addition to the LANsense™ solutions, Nexans IES will also supply a range of products whose Intellectual Property rights have been acquired from ITT Network Systems & Services (NS&S) including LANConnect™ UTP, ISCS™ FTP, and GIGAPath™ fibre products. Nexans IES will supply these products alongside the existing Nexans LANmark and e-ssential range of solutions and services.
The new unit, based in Basingstoke, will be operational from 4th July 2005.

The new business will be managed by Tony Rossiter, formerly from ITT NS&S who said “The new unit will not only enhance the range of Nexans products and solutions but will also significantly increase Nexans presence and capabilities in the UK market.
