CU/PVC/SPLIT CONC./PVC is a PVC insulted and PVC sheathed single-phase split concentric cable with circular phase conductor of annealed, stranded copper, meeting the requirements in BS EN 60228 class 2. The split concentric layer consists of a neutral conductor of plain annealed copper wires covered with PVC and an earth continuity conductor of plain annealed copper wires. The neutral and the earth continuity conductors are separated by 2 PE strings. As binder one layer of plastic tape. The cable is designed according to BS 7870-3.20. The core has harmonised colour. The external surface on the outer sheath is embossed "NEXANS GS ELECTRIC CABLE 600/1000 V BS 7870-3.20 "H" NUMBER OF CORES X NOMINAL AREA OF THE CONDUCTOR YEAR/MONTH OF MANUFACTURE" + metre marking. The cable meets the requirements for flammability stated in IEC 60332-1. The cable is certified by BASEC.
