The range of planar optical splitters is designed for PON-type optical networks to passively share media content and bandwidth. Different splitting ratios are possible depending on the network architectures.
Preterminated splitters make it possible to avoid splicing on site when connectors are needed, thus reducing installation time. In addition, the connectors are mounted, polished and tested at the factory, their reliability is guaranteed. Connectivity is grade B category OP (use at -25/+70°C).
The splitters range comes in 2 families: straight splitters and module splitters.
"SOD" type (straight splitters)
The SOD splitters are characterized by the exit of the trunk and branches by the opposite sides. They are fixed by fitting in cassettes.
"SMOD Mini" type (module splitters)
The SMOD Mini splitters are characterized by the exit of the trunk(s) and branches by the same side. They are fixed by screwing.
SOD type is availaible with input(s) color white and outputs colors blue, orange, green, brown, gray, white, red, black with 250 or 900µm fibers.
SMOD type is available with input(s) color white and outputs colors blue, orange, green, brown, gray, white, red, black with 900µm fibers. A retubing Ø1.6mm color blue, red, green and yellow is possible for with input(s) and outputs
