CU/XLPE/PVC/AWA/PVC is a XLPE insulted, PVC bedded, aluminiumwirearmoured and PVC sheathed cable with circular annealed copper conductors complying with BS EN 60228 class 2. The cable is designed according to BS 5467. The armour is a single layer of aluminiumwires, laid in a left hand direction. The core has harmonized colour and is covered with an extruded layer of polymericc ompound.The external surface on the outer sheath is embossed "NEXANS GS BASEC ELECTRIC CABLE 600/1000V BS 5467 "H" NUMBER OF CORES X NOMINAL AREA OF THE CONDUCTOR XLPE YEAR OF MANUFACTURE" +meter marking. The cable meets the requirements for flammability stated in IEC 60332-1 and BS EN 50265-2-1. The cable is certified by BASEC.
